Save precise assembly lets you:
Save the working assembly and its subassemblies to Teamcenter as precise
Verify status of precise assembly in Assembly Navigator
Revert back to the previous save precise functionality
You can save an assembly and its subassemblies to Teamcenter as a precise assembly regardless of the revision rule that was used when the assembly structure was originally loaded into NX.
The command File→Save Precise Assembly performs the save operation on the current working assembly such that the assembly structure and all of its subassemblies are saved in Teamcenter as Precise BVR. This product structure has the same precise revision as what is currently in the NX session. The revision rule used when the assembly was loaded into NX is overruled with this command; imprecise assembly structures are also saved as precise.
Note:
You must have write access to all of the components to save the assembly as precise.
Note:
Any subassembly parts not loaded into the NX session are not included in the precise save operation.
